HHL Startup Consulting Ltd is registered with Companies House on 21 May 2025 under Company Registration Number 16464084 and operates as the sole data controller for all personal data processed in connection with its business activities.

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data. It applies to all individuals who interact with us, including clients, course purchasers, members, subscribers, prospective clients, contractors, website visitors, and anyone who communicates with us online, by email, or through our digital platforms.

For data protection purposes, HHL Startup Consulting Ltd is the data controller for all websites, brands, and platforms operating under its business, including but not limited to:

  • www.lindadube.co.uk, which operates as a      brand and professional platform under HHL Startup Consulting Ltd and      processes personal data solely on behalf of and under the control of HHL Startup Consulting Ltd

All personal data collected through lindadube.co.uk is processed in accordance with this Privacy Notice, under the same lawful bases, security arrangements, and registration with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

HHL Startup Consulting Ltd processes personal data in strict compliance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and applicable ICO guidance. Given the nature of our professional consulting, training, coaching services, and digital products, we handle personal data with integrity, transparency, and appropriate security safeguards.

How we collect information

We collect personal information in a number of ways depending on how individuals interact with our business. Information may be provided directly when an individual completes a contact form, downloads a resource, subscribes to a mailing list, books a consultation, registers for a course or membership programme, or purchases a digital product via any of our websites or associated platforms, including hhlstartupconsulting.com and lindadube.co.uk.

Personal data may also be collected when individuals contact us by email, engage with us via social media, attend webinars or masterclasses, submit enquiries, or participate in coaching, consultancy, or training services.

Where individuals engage in consultancy or coaching, we may collect information relevant to the delivery of services, including communication history, onboarding responses, service notes, or information necessary to tailor support appropriately.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal, which act as independent data controllers. HHL Startup Consulting Ltd does not store or process payment card details. We receive confirmation of transactions, billing details, and payment references in order to fulfil contractual obligations and maintain accurate financial records.

Our websites automatically collect limited technical information through cookies and analytics tools, including IP address, browser type, device information, and website interaction data. This information is used to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.

The types of personal data we collect

The personal data we collect may include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postal addresses, company or trading names, business-related information, communication preferences, transaction confirmations, and records of interactions with us. Where relevant to consultancy or coaching, we may collect information relating to business goals, operational challenges, or strategic planning.

We do not routinely collect special category data. However, individuals may voluntarily share sensitive personal information during coaching or consultancy sessions. Any such information is handled confidentially and processed only with explicit consent and for the limited purpose for which it is shared.

Lawful basis for processing

We process personal data only where a lawful basis exists under UK GDPR. Processing is primarily based on contractual necessity where individuals purchase services, register for courses, or engage our consultancy. Consent is relied upon for marketing communications, including newsletters and promotional emails. Legitimate interests apply to activities such as business administration, service improvement, security, fraud prevention, and communication with existing clients about relevant services. Legal obligation applies where we are required to retain records for accounting or HMRC purposes.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

How we use information

Personal data is used to deliver consultancy, coaching, training programmes, memberships, and digital products; manage enquiries and client relationships; provide customer support; issue invoices; maintain business records; and fulfil legal and contractual obligations.

Marketing communications are sent only where individuals have opted in and may be withdrawn at any time.

We may analyse anonymised or aggregated data to improve services, enhance user experience, and evaluate business performance.

Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent personal data. Information may be shared with trusted third-party service providers who support business operations, including website hosting providers, email platforms, payment processors, accountants, IT support services, CRM systems, and course-hosting platforms. All third parties operate under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Information may be disclosed where legally required or to professional advisers for compliance purposes.

Security of your information

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Data is stored on secure systems with restricted access, encryption where appropriate, and regular review of security practices. Access to email accounts, digital platforms, and records is limited to authorised personnel only.

Website analytics and cookies

Our websites use cookies and analytics tools to improve functionality and understand user behaviour. Visitors can manage or disable cookies through browser settings. Further information is available in our Cookie Policy.

Retention of data

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil its purpose and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Financial records are retained in line with HMRC requirements. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn. Data is securely deleted or anonymised when no longer required.

Your rights

Individuals have rights under data protection law, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and request data portability. Requests should be submitted to contact@hhlstartupconsulting.com. We will respond within one month. Complaints may be raised with the Information Commissioner’s Office if concerns remain unresolved.
